Schedule property visits.
Join city-based housing communities.
Access housing-related information and services.
Hutmate acts solely as an intermediary platform and is not a property owner, broker, landlord, tenant, or property management company unless explicitly stated otherwise.
User Accounts
Users may register using:
Mobile Number and OTP Verification
Google Login
Facebook Login
Other authentication methods introduced by Hutmate
Users are responsible for:
Maintaining account security.
Protecting login credentials.
Ensuring information remains accurate and up to date.
Users are solely responsible for all activities occurring under their account.
Property Listings
Property listings may be created by:
Property Owners
Brokers
Co-Living Operators
Authorized Housing Providers
By posting a listing, users represent and warrant that:
They have the legal authority to advertise the property.
Information provided is accurate and not misleading.
Images, videos, and content belong to them or are used with authorization.
The listing complies with applicable laws.
Hutmate does not independently verify ownership, legality, pricing, availability, or condition of any property.
Users should independently verify all information before entering into any transaction.
Property Visits
Users may schedule property visits through Hutmate.
Hutmate:
Does not guarantee availability of any property.
Does not guarantee that visits will occur as scheduled.
Is not responsible for cancellations by property providers or users.
Users are responsible for their own safety and due diligence during property visits.
Community Guidelines
Users participating in Hutmate communities and WhatsApp groups agree not to:
Post false or misleading information.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate others.
Share illegal, obscene, or offensive content.
Promote fraudulent schemes.
Spam users or groups.
Misrepresent property details.
Violation of these guidelines may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the Platform and associated communities.
Broker and Partner Accounts
Brokers, agents, and housing partners must provide truthful business information.
Hutmate may verify business details and reserves the right to:
Reject applications.
Remove partner accounts.
Suspend access for policy violations.
Verification badges, featured listings, or promotional status do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by Hutmate.
Affiliate Program
Users participating in the Hutmate Affiliate Program agree that:
Commissions are subject to verification.
Fraudulent referrals are prohibited.
Self-referrals are not allowed.
Hutmate may reverse commissions resulting from fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
Affiliate commission structures may be modified at any time.
Final commission decisions shall remain at the sole discretion of Hutmate.
User Content
Users retain ownership of content submitted to Hutmate.
By uploading content, users grant Hutmate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:
Display
Store
Reproduce
Distribute
Promote
such content in connection with platform operations and marketing activities.
Users remain solely responsible for their content.
Intellectual Property
All Platform content including:
Logos
Trademarks
Software
Designs
Graphics
Databases
Text Content
are owned by or licensed to Hutmate and protected under applicable intellectual property laws.
Users may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit any content without prior written permission.
Prohibited Activities
Users shall not:
Create fake accounts.
Impersonate another person.
Manipulate platform rankings.
Scrape or extract platform data.
Upload malicious software.
Interfere with platform security.
Use automated bots without authorization.
Violations may result in account termination and legal action.
Third-Party Services
Hutmate may integrate with third-party services including:
WhatsApp
Google
Facebook
Payment Providers
SMS Gateway Providers
Use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Hutmate shall not be liable for third-party actions, interruptions, or failures.
Disclaimer
Hutmate provides the Platform on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
We do not guarantee:
Property availability.
Property condition.
Accuracy of listings.
Tenant suitability.
Landlord suitability.
Rental outcomes.
Continuous Platform availability.
Users assume all risks associated with property transactions and communications.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hutmate shall not be liable for:
Indirect damages
Incidental damages
Consequential damages
Loss of profits
Loss of data
Personal disputes
Property-related disputes
arising from Platform usage.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Hutmate during the preceding twelve (12) months.
Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hutmate, its founders, employees, partners, affiliates, and representatives from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:
User conduct
Property disputes
Violation of laws
Breach of these Terms
Account Suspension and Termination
Hutmate reserves the right to:
Suspend accounts
Restrict access
Remove listings
Delete content
Permanently terminate users
for any violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
Privacy
Your use of Hutmate is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and processing of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Modifications
Hutmate may modify these Terms at any time.
Updated Terms will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
